Old timers say that this river has a story to tell - a story of continuous contraction and expansion (Yo! Look, walang malisya ito, dude! Trust me. Nyahaha!).

As you can see in the map (graph), before each expansion, there is a narrowing of the canal or river. It is the contraction of the canal that traps the fluid (water) thus creating pressure. When the pressure is too much, there is a need to release, thus, the widening of the channel to accommodate the fluid. Now, take another look at the map and you can see that there is already a third long and narrow channel with no expansion, yet. Old timers say that it is time to brace ourselves for a huge release. Those who are prepared will gain. Those who will ignore the sign will lose the opportunity and will have to wait for the next cycle.
