iPad vs. Galaxy Tablet |
Late last year, my comrades-in-trade and yours truly were discussing about mobile phones and devices and how these may help us in our trades.
I have commented that my iPad is very useful. Since aside from WiFi, it has 3G which makes me able to access my online broker almost everywhere. Sometimes, even in front of my desktop or laptop, I find myself using my iPad.
This month, my Smart plan expired which allowed me to choose the free device that comes with the renewal package. Since my Blackberry cellphone from the expired package is still okay, I opted for a Samsung Galaxy Tablet.
And this is the blog all about. Which one is more useful to me, from the point of view of a stock trader.

Pic Taken With The Tablet |
Due to its screen size, better response to touch and speed in screen changes, I will choose the iPad. The Samsung is supposed to have Java but I can not activate it and nobody in the various Internet fora I have posted my query about it has provided me the solution. The Java is needed to view the charts of Citiseconline. I will post another review when I get to activate Java in it. The Samsung tablet is an Android phone and compared to the iPad, it has other uses (phone calls, text messaging, front and back cameras and better sound system). However, as earlier mentioned, my comparison is on their usefulness for stock trading purposes. Both have WiFi and 3G, thus, ease of access to Internet is not an issue.
